As a result of the work carried out as part of the ScIoT, our institute was included in the standardization activities in the field of Smart City. Starting from May 2020 IITiS PAN is a member of the LoRa Alliance standardization association and as a scientific member has the right to participate in standardization activities of the organization.
LoRa Alliance is an open non-profit association that has grown to over 500 since its inception in March 2015, becoming the largest and fastest-growing alliance in the IoT technology sector. The goal of the LoRa Alliance is to support a sustainable IoT to maximize efficiency, improve quality of life and conserve the planet's resources.
